Refund and Return Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This policy covers VenTech Terminal, the subscription software sold by VenTech, LLC (“VenTech,” “we,” “us”). It explains what happens when you cancel, when you get money back, and how to ask for it.

Consulting and custom development engagements are billed under their own Statement of Work and are not covered here. This policy is part of our End User License Agreement.

The short version

  • Every subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
  • Monthly plans: cancel any time. Access runs to the end of the month you paid for. No partial-month refunds.
  • Annual plans: full refund within 30 days of your first annual charge. After that, cancel and it stops at renewal.
  • Cancel online yourself at any time from Manage your subscription. No email, no form, no phone call.
  • For a refund, or if you would rather a person handled the cancellation, email eli@ventechdigital.com. We action it within one business day.

1. There Is Nothing to Physically Return

VenTech Terminal is delivered digitally. You download the desktop app and we email a license key to the administrator address you give at checkout. There is no box, no disc, and no hardware, so there is nothing to ship back to us and no return shipping to pay for.

On this page, a “return” means canceling your subscription and, where this policy says so, getting your money back.

2. The 14-Day Free Trial

Nobody pays for VenTech Terminal before using it. Every subscription begins with a 14-day free trial, and no charge is taken during those 14 days.

  • We ask for a payment method at checkout so that the subscription can start the moment the trial ends without an interruption. Nothing is charged to it during the trial.
  • Your trial runs for 14 days from the day you complete checkout.
  • If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing at all. There is no refund to request, because there was no charge.
  • If you do not cancel, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of day 14 and your first charge is taken then. This is set out in section 4 of the EULA.

The trial is the reason the rest of this policy is short. You get two weeks with the real product, on your own accounts, with your own team, before any money changes hands.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly plans cost $200 per seat per month.

You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for: you keep VenTech Terminal until that date, and you are not billed again.

We do not refund part of a month. If you cancel on day 20 of a monthly period, you keep the remaining days and there is no further charge, but the month in progress is not refunded.

4. Annual Subscriptions

Annual plans cost $2,000 per seat per year, which is two months free compared with paying monthly.

Within 30 days of your first annual charge, we will refund it in full and close the subscription. That is the whole charge, not a prorated share of it, and you do not have to give a reason.

After 30 days, the annual term runs to its end. You can cancel at any point and the cancellation takes effect at your renewal date, so you are not charged for another year. We do not refund the remainder of a year already under way.

The 30-day window applies to your first annual charge. Renewal charges are not covered by it, so if you do not want another year, cancel before your renewal date.

5. Adding and Removing Seats

  • Adding seats. You can add seats at any time. Stripe prorates a seat added mid-term, so you pay for the part of the period that remains rather than a full month or a full year.
  • Removing seats. Removing seats takes effect at your next renewal. We do not refund a seat you stop using partway through a period.
  • Moving a seat. A seat is licensed to one computer, but it is not stuck there. A seat can be released from one machine and activated on another when someone gets a new laptop or a new person takes over the work. Moving a seat is not a cancellation and costs nothing. If you are not sure how, email us and we will do it for you.

6. How to Cancel

You can cancel online, yourself, at any time. Go to Manage your subscription, sign in with the email address the subscription is billed to, and cancel. It takes effect immediately and you do not have to wait for us. You subscribed in one click and you can stop in one click; we are not going to make the exit harder than the entrance.

If you would rather a person did it, email eli@ventechdigital.com from an address on the account and tell us you want to cancel. Include the company name you gave at checkout. We action it within one business day and email you a confirmation.

Either way, if you are cancelling during your trial, cancel before the 14th day so that no charge is taken.

We do not ask you to sit through a retention call, and we do not hide the cancellation behind a form. If you want to tell us why you are leaving we would like to hear it, but it is not a condition of anything.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email eli@ventechdigital.com with:

  • the company name on the account
  • the date and amount of the charge
  • whether you also want the subscription canceled

We reply within one business day. If the request falls inside the 30-day annual window described in section 4, we approve it without asking for a reason. If it falls outside this policy, we will tell you plainly and explain why rather than leaving the email unanswered.

8. How Refunds Are Paid

  • Refunds go back to the payment method that was originally charged. We cannot send a refund to a different card, a different account, or a person other than the payer.
  • We issue the refund through Stripe as soon as it is approved. How quickly it appears is then up to your bank or card issuer; 5 to 10 business days is typical.
  • If you used a promotion code or a discount, we refund the amount that was actually charged.
  • Refunds are made in US dollars.

9. Billing Mistakes and Chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong — a duplicate, the wrong number of seats, a subscription you believed was canceled, an amount you do not recognize — email us before you dispute it with your bank. We will look at the record in Stripe, and if we billed you in error we will refund it. Genuine billing mistakes get fixed. We are not going to argue about them.

A chargeback is slower for both of us. It freezes the money for weeks, and while a dispute is open we may have to suspend the account it relates to. One email usually resolves the same problem in a day.

10. What This Policy Does Not Cover

  • Consulting engagements. Custom development and consulting work is governed by the Statement of Work or project agreement for that engagement.
  • Your AI provider's charges. VenTech Terminal runs on your own AI provider subscription. What that provider bills you for model usage is between you and them, under your agreement with them. We do not receive that money and cannot refund it.
  • Your other third-party accounts. Charges from your own Composio account or from any service you connect are billed by those providers, not by us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. The version in force when you were charged is the one that applies to that charge.
